Distance D60 - Nikon operation / options?
I see that the remote control Nikon ML-3 is the only option to remotely operate my D60. My questions are: - Is this the only (good) option? (I do not want to use the cheap imitation brands) - Is it possible to use the remote control behind camera? I only see an infrared receiver on the front cam
The camera only has the infrared sensor in the front of the camera. You Can be used from behind the camera if you can bounce the IR beam out of something in front of the camera. The surface you bounce the IR beam was needs to be fairly close to this, maybe 5-10 feet. I can use the remote control behind the camera when I make pictures of products. The ML-3 is a perfect good distance. For the price, why buy a unit of imitation. Another option is the use of Pro Nikon camera control program. Enable remote tethered to your computer. Kind of expensive for what it does.
