Why not take pictures of NASA's Mars Rover to produce color images in standard real?
Every picture I've seen is either black and white delivery of an artist, or use any type of infrared or similar type of images. I just want to see what Mars would look like if I was right there. The environment the landscape, how the sun is visible from that point of view. Why do this?
The Mars Rovers are capable of color image and send back photos color on a regular basis. The cameras also have filters that allow them to take photos in the spectra of others as the infrared. There are plenty of color images the image of the Mars Rover NASA site (see source link below).
