Will wireless headphones work with my portable DVD player?

I have a portable DVD player we have in the car to watch movies en. It has a remote control so you guess has a IR (infrared) receiver. "I can buy a wireless headset using the infrared system and connect automatically? If they do work, is the sign of being well and seamlessly as with other waves? Thanks!

No, unless indicated by their portable DVD player, the infrared receiver can only receive and not send IR signals. Also, to my knowledge, no headphones Infrared wireless. What you may want is wireless headset that plugs into the 3.5mm jack (headphone slot).
